Beetroot is looking to connect with experienced Senior Art Directors with a strong background in experiential marketing, events, immersive environments and brand experiences for upcoming freelance opportunities.

We’re seeking a conceptually driven creative who can take a brief and transform it into compelling, audience-focused experiences across physical, digital and hybrid environments.

This is an opportunity to work on high-profile projects for leading brands, collaborating with strategists, producers, designers and creative teams to deliver engaging experiences that connect with audiences and solve business challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing big ideas and creative concepts for experiential, event and immersive projects
• Creating compelling visual narratives, presentation decks and concept visuals
• Collaborating with strategy, client service and production teams to bring ideas to life
• Contributing to end-to-end experience journeys across live, digital and hybrid environments
• Working with emerging technologies, interactive experiences and AI-driven tools where relevant
• Guiding creative output from concept through execution while maintaining design integrity
• Collaborating with specialist suppliers, production partners and technology providers

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Art Director role within experiential, events, activation or immersive environments
• Proven conceptual thinking and ability to generate multiple creative directions
• Strong storytelling, presentation and visual communication skills
• Experience working across live experiences, exhibitions, brand activations, conferences, events or immersive installations
• Solid understanding of interactive technologies and emerging digital experiences
• Ability to balance creative ambition with practical execution
• Exceptional attention to detail and design craft
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

This is a unique opportunity to join a specialist agency working with some of Australia’s leading listed companies, investment institutions and professional services firms. The agency is recognised for delivering high-profile annual reports, investor communications, transaction documentation and corporate branding projects.

We’re looking for a commercially astute client services professional who understands the pace, precision and stakeholder management required when working within the corporate and capital markets environment.

The Role:

As Account Director, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner while overseeing the successful delivery of complex corporate communications projects.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, designers, production teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.

Projects may include:

• Annual reports and sustainability reports
• Investor and shareholder communications
• IPO and capital raising documentation
• Mergers and acquisitions communications
• Corporate branding and identity projects
• Corporate governance and regulatory communications

 

Key Skills

We are seeking:

• A polished and confident client services professional who is comfortable operating at senior executive level and understands the importance of accuracy, discretion and stakeholder management.
• 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Account Management, Client Services or Account Director role
• Experience within a corporate communications, financial communications, investor relations, branding or integrated agency environment
• Strong knowledge of annual reporting processes and production
• Experience working with listed companies, financial institutions, corporate advisory firms or legal firms
• Exceptional presentation, communication and relationship management skills
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities to grow client relationships
• Outstanding project management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously
• Meticulous attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach
• An understanding of the regulatory and governance requirements surrounding corporate communications

This is an onsite role based out of their Sydney office.  You will have full Australian working rights. Sponsorship is not available.

Ideally you will have worked on projects for large organisations starting with brand creation and moving into developing style guides, collateral, ads, signage, digital assets and more.

While we do get a mix of on-site and hybrid roles we do require candidates to be based in Australia.   Most of our clients are in Sydney with a handful in Melbourne and Brisbane.

Key Skills

We are ideally seeking:

• Minimum 4 years plus experience
• Ability to take a brief from concept to either a mac visual or finished artwork
• Passionate about delivering quality work
• Must be fluent across the Creative Suite
• Additional skills in After Effects, Premiere Pro, PowerPoint and Figma all highly regarded
• Strong team players
• Must have full Australian working rights
