Beetroot is partnering with a highly respected, mid-sized Sydney design studio known for delivering beautifully crafted, strategically driven work across FMCG and brand activation.

With a strong and diverse client portfolio, this team creates packaging that performs on shelf while also extending into compelling brand experiences. They are now seeking a Senior Packaging Designer to play a key creative role within the studio.

Reporting to the Creative Director and working closely alongside another senior creative, you’ll lead the design and conceptual development of FMCG packaging projects from idea through to Mac visuals.

This is a hands-on creative position suited to a designer with strong conceptual thinking, refined craft, and a proven ability to deliver standout packaging within a design agency environment.

They offer hybrid working: 4 days in studio, 1 day from home

Key Skills

  • Minimum 7 years industry experience with proven FMCG packaging experience within a design agency.

  • A strong folio demonstrating conceptual thinking, typography, and brand storytelling

  • Confidence taking projects from concept through to Mac visuals.

  • Experience in brand activation would be desirable.

  • Fluency across the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills

  • Full Australian working rights.  Sponsorship maybe considered for an exceptional candidate

At present Beetroot is seeking mid-weight and senior designers with a wealth of experience in design and branding. We are seeking top notch creatives who have worked within other leading design studios. Ideally you will have worked on projects for large organisations starting with brand creation and moving into developing style guides, collateral, ads, signage, digital assets and more.

While we do get a mix of on-site and hybrid roles we do require candidates to be based in Australia.   Most of our clients are in Sydney with a handful in Melbourne and Brisbane.

Key Skills

We are ideally seeking:

  • Minimum 4 years plus experience
  • Ability to take a brief from concept to either a mac visual or finished artwork
  • Passionate about delivering quality work
  • Must be fluent across the Creative Suite
  • Additional skills in After Effects, Premiere Pro, PowerPoint and Figma all highly regarded
  • Strong team players
  • Must have full Australian working rights
